Hi Anthony, NTW this is more of a user@ question, for next time - no matter.
You are using R14B04 (good) so I'm assuming your linux doesn't have
the asn1 application installed?
erl -noshell -eval "ok=application:start(asn1), init:stop()."
If asn1 is installed, then the above command is silent. If not it spews errors.
Perhaps details on what distro, release, and which erlang packages are
installed might help us get further.
