By sortable table you mean: remove all the filters and provide information in
the form of sorted table?
I guess that may works, but I really not sure that this would have good
usability since I haven't much active tasks to say that. Do you know anyone
with the huge list of them and who wanted to test such interface?
Probably, sorted list and highlighting tasks types (to easily filter with the
eyes) with some icons or colours may be good idea.
