Fix Version/s: 3.0.0
It is not clear that this work will land in 2.0.0 so I am currently setting the
milestone to 3.0.0 (as we don't yet have a 2.0.x / 2.1.x / etc.)
If we are able to pull this work into 2.0.0, great.
