The Gravity ads auto-inserted in blog.couchdb.org by wordpress.com are really
spammy, and detract from the professionality of the project. As the content is
not controlled by us, they may even break the code of conduct (e.g. right now
I'm looking at "50 hottest celebs!" under the photo of a woman with cleavage).
This is why I've classified it as a bug, not merely an improvement.
Some options:
a - try and break the ads with custom CSS
b - ask wordpress.com to please turn them off, we are an non-profit project,
etc.
c - self-host a wordpress instance.
I would try b first. Since it involves approaching Wordpress in the project's
name, suggestions welcome.
