:) i can work on the the logic/naming a little more.
I'm still a little unhappy with the way the timing works, since the extra
time is a little misleading for shorter time intervals, but I wanted to make it
look like a smooth animation, and the trade off there is that there is this
buffer of time. I like your suggestions, and I'm still working on it!
