Jonas, I think the IPMC vote has run long enough, and you should cancel it. Send a message with “[CANCEL] [VOTE …” as subject.
John and Justin raised some good issues. Not all of them need to be fixed in the next RC, but all of them need to be addressed. A good practice is to log JIRA cases to track the issues raised (even if you disagree with them), and mention those JIRA cases in the cancel mail. Justin is probably the most expert & diligent reviewer of releases in Apache, so well done for getting this far. Next RC will pass, I think. Julian
