Hi Jochen and Phil,

Thanks for raising this issue. We are already aware of the Maven 4
incompatibility, which is fixed in the next Develocity extension release
(1.23), which is scheduled for release soon (next week, I believe). I've
verified RAT builds successfully with Maven 4 rc1 when used with v1.23 of
the Develocity extension. I will open a new PR to enable the integration
once it is released. We are happy to work with you on any such future
issues.

For a bit of context on Develocity: The build scans of the Apache Creadur
RAT project are published to the Develocity instance at ge.apache.org,
hosted by the Apache Software Foundation, and run in partnership between
the ASF and Gradle. This Develocity instance has all features and
extensions enabled and is freely available for use by the Apache Creadur
RAT project and all other Apache projects.

On this Develocity instance, Apache Creadur RAT has access not only to all
of the published build scans but also to other aggregate data features such
as:

   - Dashboards to view all historical build scans, along with performance
   trends over time
   - Build failure analytics for enhanced investigation and diagnosis of
   build failures
   - Test failure analytics to better understand trends and causes around
   slow, failing, and flaky tests

It also enables you to use local and remote build cache to speed up your
builds. However, that isn't enabled by default, and to my knowledge, you
haven't been using these features yet.

I also looped in my colleague Clay, whom you can also contact with any
issues to prevent me from becoming the bottleneck. He and ASF Infra have a
presence in the ASF #builds Slack channel, so you can also reach us
there. We are happy to create a project-dedicated channel if a team prefers
and connect it to ASF Slack.

Cheers,
Gasper
