+1 The term family avoids confusion with Apache A/B/X license categories.
One question: Is the license ID used in RAT more equivalent to a "full" SPDX license ID like `GPL-2.0-only WITH Classpath-Exception-2.0`, so an SPDX license with (or without) an exception?
