Description:
After migrating to log4j2 via WHISKER-18 we experience build failures on
Windows and JDKs:
* 8
* 11
* 17
but the build goes through on Windows-JDK21 and all Ubuntu-builds in the same
matrix build.
Update 2026-07-02: Due to RAT0.18 the project does not build with JDK8, 11
anymore.

It seems as if the maven-invoker-tests are not working.
h2. Call for help
Could anyone with a Windows machine verify the situation by just building
locally and adding the build output of a failing integration test to this task?
