Thanks for your interest in RAT and your report - I assume (as the gradle
plugin is not official part of Creadur yet) that Gradle does not report all of
the stuff that were improved in RAT0.18.
A Maven run allows setting a verbose flag:
./mvnw apache-rat:check -Drat.verbose=true
which increases the output:

This would allow comparing the rat.txt files of 2 consecutive runs with the
help of AI top see differences ..... would this be helpful for you as well?
As we provide language-agnostic functionality for Ant, Maven, CLI the current
effort is to allow the same configuration for all 3 UIs -
if that is done we want to change the module structure of RAT and could think
of adding the Gradle plugin as well (just to provde a little bit more context
to you).
