Cloning the latest master branch on Mac OS leads to the following warning:

warning: the following paths have collided (e.g. case-sensitive paths
on a case-insensitive filesystem) and only one from the same
colliding group is in the working tree:

The default filesystem on Mac OS is case insensitive
(https://support.apple.com/en-euro/guide/disk-utility/dsku19ed921c/mac). The
tests should be refactored to also work on case insensitive fille systems
