I created a ver2 of this patch. I cooperated with Tom White. This patch
includes everything from the previous version and also includes some fixes to
avoid deprecation warnings about Scala 2.11 and a better solution for
CRUNCH-529 to support Scala 2.11 safely. CRUNCH-529 contains a modification
that can cause a failure with Scala 2.11 in some circumstances. CRUNCH-529's
solution is good if we would like to compile the same code for Scala 2.10 and
also to 2.11, but we will broke the compatibility anyway and this is a cleaner
and safer solution.
