Google has it first for me, but big has it at 7.

Andy,

I wonder if Google's localization is finding 2.5 ahead of Apache cTAKES for you
but not for others.
For me when I search just on cTAKES, the Apache cTAKES site is higher than 2.5
in the results list.

There is a NOTE in the Introduction of the 2.5 page.
It references Apache cTAKES as incubating though. And apparently is not
prominent enough. I will update that and find a way to make it more prominent.

I agree that we should continue to change any other existing "front door" or
mechanism that we know of that points to the current cTAKES. The primary goal,
as you say, would be to get new users (or old ones coming back) to the right
place within just a few clicks.

Subject: NCI references out of date

HI Troy et al:

I noticed that the NCI is still referring to cTakes 2.5.

Should we
A) update the other sites with each new cTakes version
B) redirect to apache ctakes

https://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/VKC/cTAKES+2.5

I dont mean to harp on this issue, but it is the front door that I keep finding
via Google searches for cTakes content.
Which means many of our users may still be going to these other sites and
getting stale info.

Thoughts? Votes?

PS: we have a new cTakes paper on de-identification about to be published any
day now.
WIll post when link is live.
