Just recently, Curator maintainers have merged the code changes (https://github.com/apache/curator/pull/506) implementing my proposal for checking existence of ancestors from leaves to root when creating parents of nodes. This change is quite relevant for the interaction with ZK versions after 3.8.4 and 3.9.2 as these require read access on the parent of a node to check its existence (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-2590). My team and I are specially interested in having an officially released Curator version with this patch. I am writing to this list to request a release cut per Enrico Olivelli's suggestion (https://github.com/apache/curator/pull/506#issuecomment-2346875870).
