Someone asked about speeding up the Hudson builds by parallelizing the systests.
Here's my view. The systests need housecleaning. Some of them could be converted to ordinary per-module unit tests. Some of them could be combined. Some of them could be deleted. Some of them could be put out to pasture in a regression module that we didn't run for every checkin. This would be a big job for someone with a flair for test suite design. The goal would be to transform the systests into a more sleek functional test suite. Anyone feeling that ambitious?
