I think we could benefit from that, I actually wrote a simple wsdlMerger (runtime) + frontend for a customer. Solving the problem turned out to be less than fun / easy, especially if you want to accommodate soap 1.1 and soap 1.2 messages and multiple wsdl types (rpc, doc-literal and so on) in one go.
Muse could be the starting point of a confederated cxf/osgi transport where you hid all endpoints in one port/service/endpoint.
