Spring supports the alias name, if you specify the bean id attribute and name attribute at the same time, the name value can be the bean's alias name. I just did some simple test[1] on the CXF core, it show that CXF support it out of box.

Please make sure you configure bean as id attribute and name attribute at the same time.
