Subject: web service clients : Help

Hi All,

Our current web service clients use WSDLs to get the end points of the
services that we want to hit.
As a result we store the WSDL URL's in our tables to be able to run the
web service clients.

Is there a way we can hit the end points directly without having to go
through the WSDL?
Can you please suggests what need to make changes to achieve that?

Please share your thoughts on this.

Note: we are using a Apache CXF 2.1.3

Sample Code:

String endPointUrl
="http://172.16.209.11:9082/RBSHarnessServices/services/PolStatWS";;
URL wsdlURL1 = new URL(endPointUrl);
PolStatHttpService ss = new PolStatHttpService(wsdlURL1, SERVICE_NAME);
port = ss.getPolStatHttpPort();
BindingProvider bindingprovide = (BindingProvider)port;
bindingprovide.getRequestContext().put(BindingProvider.ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY,
 endPointUrl);

Getting below error while using above code:

javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: The following WSDL exception occurred:
WSDLException: faultCode=WSDL4JWrapper : : javax.wsdl.WSDLException:
WSDLException: faultCode=WSDL4JWrapper : : java.io.IOException: Server returned
HTTP response code: 500 for URL:
http://172.16.209.11:9082/RBSHarnessServices/services/PolStatWS

Thanks & Regards,
