reta commented on issue #398: [Draft] SSE implementation using AsyncContext URL: https://github.com/apache/cxf/pull/398#issuecomment-381426958 @csierra I played with the PR over the last few days, leaving the details aside, the approach works pretty well, thanks a lot for spending your time on it. One major concern I have is that injecting the suspendable interceptor in the chain may bypass the CXF internal state related to response tracking, I have asked for help regarding that. There are a couple of alternatives to interceptor to try out as well (working on that right now). But by and large, the PR proofs the point that implementing SSE using async servlets is feasible and is superior comparing to the one which relies on Atm, will be helping you out (along with other guys) to finalize it.
