…oviders ProviderFactory.handleMapper accepted a provider whose generic type is a type variable as soon as any one of its bounds matched the expected type. An ExceptionMapper<T extends Throwable & SomeInterface> was therefore selected for every exception, leading to a ClassCastException when the mapper used the SomeInterface methods.
