coheigea opened a new pull request, #405: URL: https://github.com/apache/cxf-xjc-utils/pull/405
When cxf-xjc-plugin runs XJC in a separate process, which it always does on Java 9 and later, errors are passed back as lines of text. Schema text quoted in an error message could contain line breaks and inject fake lines. That made the build fail with a misleading parsing error instead of the real one, and could attribute fake messages to other files. Each message is now sent as a single escaped line and parsed strictly, so schema text can no longer break out of its own message. Normal error and warning output is unchanged, and a new test checks the whole round trip from XJC to Maven’s reported messages. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
