Save original attachments before WS-Security replaces them with single-use secured streams, and restore them for each retransmission. Persist the originals alongside the unsecured SOAP content so security is reapplied consistently after recovery. Hold recovered attachment caches across retries and release them when the message is acknowledged or discarded, including cleanup after partial recovery failures. Order StAX security after attachment setup so the serializer can access the output stream.
