Thanks Freeman, good catch, confirmed. I’ll apply your suggestion: a class-level annotation is only applied to an inherited method that has no method-level roles, so Service.operation() needs just user again while unannotated inherited methods stay protected, plus a test for that case. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
