It's not really a blob issue so much as a buffered data limit issue. But yeah, this definitely needs to be fixed for 2.5.0--a major use case is for files larger than 2GB which will almost certainly use blobs. I've created DAFFODIL-2194 to fix the 2GB unparse issue.
