 Review comment:
   What happens if the UDF throws an Exception? Right not it will bubble up and 
probably cause some kind of error. Does it make sense here to catch generic 
exceptiosn and convert them to something else (maybe an SDE?)
   
   Related, do we need a way for UDF's to throw an schema definition error or 
processing error? Or Both? Do we need special UDFExeception's that a UDF is 
expected to throw to signify SDE vs PE?
