This is a page about how we use JIRA priority fields to organize the issue tickets. The goal of the page is for us to have common criteria for assigning priority to bug tickets. You may have noticed a flurry of recent reassignments of priority to a number of JIRA tickets. The criteria for this reassignment is what the Wiki page mentioned above is trying to capture. I apologize for the giant flood of email, but given the large number of our JIRA tickets (which stays stubbornly above 400 tickets) it is necessary to revisit their priority sometimes. If you feel this reassignment is incorrect for any particular ticket, be sure to raise it as a discussion on our dev list.
