Hi DFDL dev community, The VS Code Extension development team is excited to share that team has made significant strides by adding support for multiple versions of the debugger (Daffodil 3.10.0, 3.11.0, and 4.0.0). This enhancement allows users to configure their preferred version of Daffodil debugger. This considered a major upgrade to the Apache Daffodil™ Extension for Visual Studio Code and considered a major release. As a result, we are planning to release 1.5.0 instead of 1.4.2 as planned.
The team is currently focused on finalizing some open issues and preparing for extensive testing and documentation, aiming for completion by the end of October. We anticipate commencing the release process for version 1.5.0 shortly after our testing concludes. As always, community participation is welcome and encouraged.
