Another solution might be to move the code to {{org.apache.datafu}} and create
a backward compatible layer in {{datafu}} by sub-classing all classes.. We've
done something similar on Sqoop
([documentation|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SQOOP/Namespace+Migration]).
