Jakob Homan commented on DATAFU-76: ----------------------------------- Not for the source release since those jars won't be included in that tgz (in contrast to the javascript libs, which are included in the tgz and therefore the NOTICE). However, if these are being shaded in and distributed through some maven-style repo, yeah, somehow we'll have to get the notice into that jar. This may be a bit tricky. Can we distribute the non-combined jar and give users an option to build the combined ones themselves? For projects that binary releases, they often have to have different NOTICEs for the release since it included more jars. +1 on the current patch. > Resolve issues with build-plugin directory > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: DATAFU-76 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DATAFU-76 > Project: DataFu > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Jakob Homan > Assignee: Matthew Hayes > Attachments: DATAFU-76-v2.patch > > > It looks like the files in build-plugin were copied in from another github > account. This is problematic as this code hasn't been given to ASF and > doesn't appear to be ASL2 licensed (or even explicitly licensed at all). Is > there no other way to include this code? If not, we need to figure out the > licensing and copyright issues before it can be included. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
