Hi all,

The discussion [1] about promoting DataFusion Comet to a top-level
project reached
consensus with no objections, so I would like to start a vote.

The proposal is at [2]. If the vote passes, we will submit the board
resolution below
to the ASF Board. The initial PMC members and committers are existing
DataFusion PMC
members and committers, and everyone named has confirmed that they
want to serve.

[ ] -1 Do not establish Apache Comet as a top-level project, because...

Votes from DataFusion PMC members are binding, and everyone in the community is
welcome to vote. The vote will be open for at least 72 hours.

Here is my +1 (binding).

Thanks,
Andy
