I got a Raspberry Pi-based computer kit for the child. And what's the first
thing you do when you find that your (kid's) new toy has easy access to a
linux terminal with dev tools? Checkout, build, and test your open source
project, of course.

Not surprising as it's running some gcc 6 suite on linux, but after I got
cmake installed everything compiled and tested just fine. So we have now
officially and successfully tested our library on a pi!
