I can take the focused owned-batch-merge half of #261. I’ll preserve attribution to the original implementation and carry over the consuming `FromIterator<TDigestMut>` path, compressed k-way merge, unsorted-tail fallback, mixed-`k`/overflow semantics, focused tests, allocation-aware benchmarks, and changelog entries—without the batch-quantile API from #268/#275. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
