`FromIterator<TDigestMut>` gives callers an additional merge strategy, with performance and memory tradeoffs that depend on the input. Clarify this choice in the changelog and API documentation: many small partials can benefit, while larger compressed inputs can favor incremental merging. Explain that input count, retained centroid count, and value distribution matter beyond the number of original samples. The API documentation already describes retained input buffers, batching, and merge-order effects. Detailed benchmark evidence remains in #276.
