I've been hunting around for a while but I still can't find what I
need.

I'm looking for some initial overview and then reference documentation
for OpenOffice.org BASIC and how it interfaces to databases.

I'm (vaguely, I'm a C++/Java programmer really) familiar with VBA and
using it with MSAccess, so I'm not wanting total beginner
documentation but I do want some fairly basic stuff just to get me
started.

I've connected OOo to a postgresql database and have created a data
entry form in Writer.  What I want to do now is add some code to the
controls on the form so I can do useful things.

In particular I guess I need to know the control hierarchy (i.e. how
the objects interrelate) and the ways that field values are referenced.

Any help and pointers would be gratefully received.
