I have got some problems to display the 'German Umlaute' in combination of
a postgresql-Server (serversite charset sql_ascii) and openoffice 2.0. The
automatical client - server conversion to unicode (is this the right way
for openoffice?) don't work, if I ser the client_encoding parameter on the
postgres server. This phenomen happens for both Linux and Windows clients.
Have anyone an idea to solve this problem without changing the charset on
the server.
