Hi,
the binary at http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql is only
guaranteed to work with the binary OpenOffice.org downloaded from
http://www.openoffice.org. It will in general not work with the
openoffice.org, that comes with your linux distribution.
You would need to build it from source within your distributions build
environment.
Bye,
Joerg

I've followed all installation alternatives for OOo 2.0 found on

sbase, the upcoming dialog combo box doesn't show postgresql amongst the
existing
database options, although the Tools/Package Manager shows
postgresql-sdbc-0.7.3.zip
as installed and active
Andrew Zinn recommended starting OOBase from the following directory:
/usr/lib/openoffice.org2.0/program/
"For whatever reason, when I start Base from this directory, it can see the
postgresql-sdbc driver. I have to start it from here every time though, not just
the first."
In my case, that doesn't work either.
Please help.
