To help developers enhance this extension, here is my SRB wishes /
problems list :
1- Groups : ordering is not registered. I use Desc order and, each time
the .odb is opened, the order must be reentered in report groups. This
may be linked to the fact that the underlying query is/was in fact
ordered in the opposite order (not sure, to be checked).
This is a bug. Do you would like to submit an issue for this one? Thanks.
2- Fixed height : this is a problem for string field displaying memo
fields that can contain 1 word or 1 million ! In Access, my report for
600 rows is under 30 pages, with SRB, it's more than double, and I some
memo are not completely displayed. A dynamic height is mandatory for
such field.

3- "Random" registering of modification. After having modified a
property field, you must "quit" it before saving or running the report,
otherwise, the modification may or may not be taken into account at the
saving or running moment. Modification is not lost and will appear
"later".
This behavior should be changed. Do you submit an issue? :-)
4- Adding a Labe / Data field in report is sometime impossible : this
happens when you start the designing field with the mouse ON another one
(whose limits are not clearly seen : label fields). SRB doen't want let
you create the field but doesn't give any information. And it's not easy
to exit from the design mode ...
Which version do you use? 1.0.2 should be mark the controls red which
overlap.
Otherwise, submit ...
5- SRB freeze : it happens from time to time ... difficult to know why.
You can't close SRB, nor Base : you need to kill the process.
That's hard to say. When it is reproduce able, we can fix it.
6- Through "report browser" (navigator ?), you can open / close report
or page group. But if you close by error an existing report group (or
page ?) and reopen it immediately, you have lost your job. A
confirmation popup is mandatory !
Every action you do is undo able. Even when you delete groups or page or
report header/footer.
If not it is a bug.
7- No user manual, no tuto.

8- Doc for function is unclear : 1st parameter always missing, no
information on param types, no syntax, no example.

9- Report group is "under" page group. You can't remove 1st page header
and having the report continue on 1st page : the 1st page contains only
report header and 2nd page has following groups & details.
Do you mean http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78098 ?
Do you try to create an empty group?
10- When running "long" reports, you may go & take a drink / meal ...
It's long, very long (5 to 10 MS Access time). When the report appears,
you can't use it before another long time. Page number starts at more
than 2000 pages before decreasing to 50. At the moment, the report can
be used, saved, ...
Please submit an issue for this. Perhaps you some sample data which are
not confidential.
11- I did not find how to calculate the page number and total of pages :
any idea ? (but I did not spend a long time on this)
Menu: Insert -> Page Number
Anyway, the SRB is great and I will wait for enhancements, still using
it even with its default ;-))

Caution : a problem concerning Mod() function exists on Ubuntu Hardy and
gives an error on some fields in exemple reports. (bug reported in
ubuntu launchpad)
