Well, Amarok has its own music database (they use now MySQL embedded).

I've heard Amarok runs also on Window, but I have no idea.

That's what they say but darned if I can get it to work well under XP...under Linux it's wonderful (most of the time).

But back to Igor and Larysa - sounds as if they where given this as an assignment.


@Larysa - One other suggestion for the moment.

Create a new Base file ( embedded HSQLdb is fine ) and bring up the table Wizard. Under 'Personal' table templates you will find table definitions for tracking CD/DVD library.
It might be a good place to start from.
