moin database testing folks,
i would like to start a 'new year cleaning up db unconfirmed issues'
week (or two) to reduce this issues maybe under 50 (~120 last week,
under 100 at the moment, after diligent work mainly from drew, as i
know), not let any issues untouched and to check if they are still
valid (specially the older ones) .. so please support the OOo QA Base
team with this work and let us keep our area clean and up-to-date.
now we are down to 81 .. that seems to be the bottom at the moment,
right drew?
Well, I get 89 as of this moment - but yes I think it was at 81 on
Sunday evening.
can you give a short resume of your action?
Sure - Sunday was a bust - great plans but time did not avail. (Sunday's
have a habit of being either very productive for me, or zero as family
trumps, Sunday being the most likely day that happens :>) Actually just
BTW, most times when I say Sunday I mean wee hours of Monday morning -
Sunday day, as I was thinking then, doesn't work out.
Thursday of course was a good day.
15 Issues moved off the unconfirmed list.
There is another couple that I believe where left where they can be
resolved, not counting another couple that Terrence brought up.
As for Hug a Bug Days - I think it is something I want to keep going
with. Perhaps sans music - *smile* (but don't think that means I won't
conjure up something)- the real point is simply this. Instead of trying
to schedule in advance let's just try to go with the flow.
So Hug a Bug Days 3, Thursday the 25th
To be honest I think we need to focus on more current unconfirmed issues
for this week's Hug a Bug day. I saw in the release meeting minutes that
the 1st 3.2.1 dev build will be available by then. I really believe that
this time particularly we need to check the issues being cleared from
the 3.2 release and to hit as many of the open issues against this first
dev build ASAP.
p.s. also newbies are welcome to help
Could not agree more
