Dear All,

this is for all the ones who would like to perform linguistic review of the Help.

I have created the issue # 56321 and attached 2 files (attachment # 30673) that
can be used for Help testing.

Basically, these files will help:

a) identify the paragraphs that need to be fixed and report the ID in the issues
b) view all the Help files in their hierarchical structure.

What you need to do:

1. Close OO.o
2. Backup the existing main_transform.xsl in openoffice/help
3. Replace the file main_transform.xsl in openoffice/help
  by the attached version
4. Copy the attached "allfiles.tree" into the
  language subfolder of the openoffice/help
5. Start OpenOffice.o

The help files will now reveal much more information
(which makes them look ugly) that can be used to identify
paragraphs etc. A small explanation is given at the top
of each help file.

The contents tab will have an additional entry called
"all help files for testing" that contains all help
files in a familiar hierarchy.

Hope this help approaching the Help review in a more systematic way.

Also, my suggestion would be to use the QA form to track the changes that should be carries out and to attach it to the specific issue you submit for the Help review.

Thank you to Frank for providing this information :-) .

Rafaella
