recode utf8..latin1 < content.xlf > contentfixed.xlf oder iconv -f utf-8 -t latin1 content.xlf > contentfixed.xlf Das Ergebnis ist dann wirklich utf8 Trotzdem sollte man der Ursache auf den Grund gehen (warum die Datei falsch encodiert ist.
