Leere... also gebt euch einen Ruck!

Just a reminder... this change is scheduled for tomorrow 14 June, and
still planned to go ahead.
A total of 125 pages will be moved.
C.
As some of you might be aware, some German and Polish language articles
in the OpenOffice.org Wiki have an article name that starts with DE:,
De: or PL: (this is normal practice for a Wiki which uses namespaces).
There are approximately 125 pages that use this naming convention
The OpenOffice.org Wiki does not use namespaces. This naming convention
for the German language articles has worked in the past, but is now
becoming a problem. If we add or enable any extension that is
"namespace aware" (meaning it can work with Wikis that use namespaces)
all pages prefixed with DE:, PL: etc. cannot be displayed.
To resolve this we must move the /DE:, /De: and /PL: pages to /DE/, /De/
and /PL/ (removing the colon from the article name). This can be done
with a WikiBot. The WikiBot will pass over the pages, move them to the
new location, and then delete the Wiki redirect pages (the redirect
pages must be deleted so that the new Extensions will work correctly).
The plan date for the change is 14 June 2008 (Saturday).
There are a few things you can do to help make this change go a little
smoother:
- Please review any DE:, De: and PL: pages you are responsible for. If
there are any that are obsolete and can be deleted, please delete them
before 14 June.
- Please make sure that newly created Wiki pages do not use a ISO
Language code and colon (eg DE:, PL:, etc.) in the naming convention.
- Please check any external web pages you are responsible for or
maintain, and make sure that these pages are updated (after the article
move on 14 June) to reflect the new Wiki article names.
If I have missed any other language groups that are using this same
naming convention on the OpenOffice.org Wiki, please let me know so I
can include them into the move on 14 June.
NOTE: This change does NOT affect those Wiki articles that do not use a
colon in the name. Pages such as ones starting with Sv., Ja., fr., Pt.,
Ru/ etc. are NOT affected and no changes will be made to these pages.
If there are any issues with this change, please let me know as soon as
possible (before 14 June)
