I am reproduce this issues as per the description.
I am using Firefox 11.0, OS- Fedora 16 (3.3.1-3.fc16.x86_64)
AMI used - ami-205fba49
Sinatra 1.3.2
commit - 84d3c990959acd90be76f93d1d149d2124f4c94f
However, it seems to be working fine on Fedora 15 (2.6.40.6-0.fc15.x86_64) now.
This is running on Sinatra 1.3.1
