Ronelle Landy commented on DTACLOUD-236:
----------------------------------------
Just to leave some extra info here ....
Chatted with jweiss ... the exception is sporadic and only ever happens the
first time destroy! is called ... the second time, the delete succeeds without
error.
Using the ruby tests we have never showed this error - but there's a good
amount of polling and waiting there to make sure the tests are robust.
When I asked jweiss to output the state of the instance before destroy! is
called ...
<jweiss> rlandy: was definitely stopped. but this time there was no error on
the destroy
Suspicion: the state value might change and the instance may not 100% stopped
- so adding a delay (after the instance returns as 'stopped' but before
destroy) might prevent from seeing the exception. Although this issue still
stands.
Michal, Marios: do you guys have thoughts on this?
