Matt Wagner commented on DTACLOUD-469: -------------------------------------- Interesting. Thanks for the explanation, Marios. So increasingly, I'm questioning how much work we should put into this. I don't have a compelling need to support Rackspace; I was just testing out what public clouds would work with things as-is. It seems like the cleanest thing might be to let the user pass in the authentication scheme as you propose. I can't say with any certainty that this is something we're going to rush to implement on Conductor, though. Another option -- don't we have a stand-alone Rackspace API? We could maybe make that be a fork of the OpenStack one now. But as you indicated when we discussed this previously, this isn't the most ideal option. > Rackspace auth with the openstack driver > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: DTACLOUD-469 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DTACLOUD-469 > Project: DeltaCloud > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Server > Reporter: Marios Andreou > Assignee: Marios Andreou > > add Rackspace support to Conductor via OpenStack (versus their older API). -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
