CDI Mail is discontinued and Seam Mail was its foundation.
If CDI Mail doesn't follow JSR specs, maybe Apache James Protocols is a
candiate: http://james.apache.org/protocols/index.html
The performance is great and it is as usable as JavaMail can be. The IMAP4 impl
is awesome.
