it should be compatible which is the case for most parts since our whole
test-suite gets executed with weld 1.x and 2.x - see
https://builds.apache.org/view/A-D/view/DeltaSpike/
we could do the same trick as for jsf 2.2. please create a new task for a
detailed check (compatibility with cdi 1.1 and not weld2).
