John D. Ament commented on DELTASPIKE-782: ------------------------------------------ [~struberg] if you want to see it in action where it fails, run the test w/ the debugger on and add break points to various places inside BeanManagerProvider#getBeanManagerInfo(ClassLoader). You'll see that there's no time when running in SE mode when WebAppClassLoader is passed in and registered with a BeanManagerInfo. One way to test your theory is to have the OP use Weld-Servlet or OWB-Servlet modules to do the integration. I just don't know what either would do when running in SE (embedded) mode. > BeanManager lookup fails when BeanManager created in parent classloader and > in SE mode > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: DELTASPIKE-782 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DELTASPIKE-782 > Project: DeltaSpike > Issue Type: Bug > Components: CdiControl, Core > Affects Versions: 1.1.0 > Reporter: Shay matasaro > Assignee: John D.
