I have reverted the commits but I'm curious about what you mean by
"lack of license on the JSON data".

Except from my revision 1695066 commit which restored what you deleted
in the above commits, all the commits under data/2.0 were done by you,
so you I guess you felt like you were authorized to commit this data
here.

I haven't followed the process that led to the creation of those data
files - do you have any concerns about the licensing of that data,
anything that would prevent DeviceMap from releasing it?
