If you create a branch, make a first commit, continue working (making additional commits and pushing them), and then open the MR later, pr_coding_time will reflect the time between that first commit and the MR creation. If all commits are pushed right before opening the MR, or if the first commit and MR creation happen at nearly the same time, pr_coding_time will be zero or missing.
